Ling Feng (born 1945 in Qingdao, Shandong) is a renowned Chinese singer, television host, and philanthropist best known for his cross-strait contributions to arts and education.
After moving to Taiwan in early childhood, he rose to fame as a singer, winning the Golden Bell Award for Best Male Singer in 1985. He later became the first Taiwanese artist to film a television series in mainland China — the iconic “Eight Thousand Miles of Cloud and Moon” — breaking decades of cultural isolation and opening the door to cross-strait media collaboration.
Beyond entertainment, Ling Feng has played an instrumental role in philanthropy. In 1991, he initiated the Overseas Love Fund for Project Hope, organizing over 100 charity performances and contributing to the establishment of 24 Hope Primary Schools in rural China. His artistic achievements and humanitarian spirit have made him a respected figure across generations.
