Once a finalist in the Miss Singapore competition, Lotus also hosted the early Singapore TV program “Hua Yue Liang Xiao” (Flowers and Moonlit Nights). After marriage, she returned to a more ordinary life as a wife and mother, raising two sons and a daughter. Her husband’s business flourished, building Southeast Asia’s largest steel warehouse.

Lotus has remained active in various charitable events in Singapore, always believing in the joy of helping others. She generously donates and is enthusiastic in caring for her friends. Her circle of friends extends far, including those in Canada, Hong Kong, China, and Singapore, and she is fluent in Mandarin, English, Japanese, and Cantonese.

Lotus remains as beautiful as ever, a figure of elegance and grace, often seen as the ideal diplomat representing her country.
