Chen Guangxiong, also known as Adam Chen, is a distinguished Taiwanese architect celebrated for his innovative approach to green architecture and urban planning. Born in Taiwan, Chen pursued his architectural studies at the National Chengchi University, graduating in 1980. He further honed his expertise at the University of Applied Arts Vienna under the mentorship of the late Professor Hans Hollein, a Pritzker Prize laureate.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chen has been a pioneer in integrating traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary architectural practices. His designs emphasize sustainability and harmony with the environment, earning him numerous accolades both domestically and internationally.

One of his notable projects is the HH Building in Kaohsiung, co-designed with Professor Hans Hollein. This structure stands as a testament to his commitment to green building practices and serves as a gateway connecting the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts to its surroundings.

Beyond his architectural endeavors, Chen actively promotes environmental awareness and sustainable urban development. He serves as the chairman of the Yuanjing Ecological Green Energy Co., Ltd., where he advocates for eco-friendly building solutions and urban planning strategies that prioritize ecological balance.
